POLICY
ECOVIDRIO is fully aware of the importance of correctly handling personal data and, in line with current legal regulations, has implemented a system within its organisation to safeguard the security, integrity and confidentiality of personal information.
VI.1. Privacy and Confidentiality
ECOVIDRIO informs users that the personal data you provide through any of our services will be entered into an automated file owned by ECOVIDRIO, with its registered office at Calle Estébanez Calderón, 3-5 (4th floor), 28020 Madrid. This data will be used to manage the relationship with users, to deliver the services offered on the site, to enhance and expand content, and to send information and/or advertising that ECOVIDRIO believes may be of interest, either by email or by any other means. When commercial communications are sent via email or similar channels, providing your data to ECOVIDRIO constitutes your express consent to receive advertising through that medium.
If the user is a minor, their personal data must be submitted with authorisation from their legal representative. ECOVIDRIO therefore assumes that any minor accessing the portals is doing so with permission from a legal guardian.
Users may access, correct or cancel their personal data by completing the form made available by ECOVIDRIO and sending it by regular or certified mail to the Department of Institutional Relations at the address listed above. (Click here to access our form)
ECOVIDRIO informs users that submitting this data is not mandatory for general access or navigation on the portals. However, access to certain services will require users to provide personal data. If the necessary data is not provided, ECOVIDRIO may be unable to deliver the relevant services. In such cases, ECOVIDRIO will bear no responsibility for failing to provide, or for partially providing, those services.
Users are fully responsible for the accuracy of the data submitted. ECOVIDRIO reserves the right to exclude any user who provides false information from its registered services, without prejudice to any other legal actions that may apply.
VI.2. Use of Cookies
ECOVIDRIO informs users that cookies—small data files generated on the user’s computer—are used when browsing the portals. These cookies allow ECOVIDRIO to collect the following information:
- a) The date and time of access to the portals. This allows ECOVIDRIO to identify the busiest periods and make any necessary adjustments to prevent overload during peak hours.
- b) The number of daily visitors to each section. This allows ECOVIDRIO to determine which areas are most visited and to increase and improve content, helping users achieve a more satisfactory experience.
- c) The date and time of the user’s most recent visit to either or both of the portals.
- d) The content layout selected by the user during their first visit to either or both of the portals.
- e) Security elements involved in managing access to restricted areas.
This information is completely anonymous and cannot be associated with any specific, identifiable user. It helps ECOVIDRIO tailor and improve services based on user interests.
However, users can prevent cookies from being generated by selecting the appropriate option in their browser settings. ECOVIDRIO advises that disabling cookies may result in slower navigation.
