NET GREEN HOMES aims to raise awareness among both hosts and guests about the importance of recycling, even when travelling.
Backed by Ecovidrio and the Island Councils of Mallorca and Ibiza, any tourist accommodation can join by committing to recycling and resource awareness.
As a property owner, joining the network means pledging to follow these simple commitments:
Commitment 01
Inform guests that they are staying in a sustainable property (across all channels and communications).
Commitment 02
Display clear information about recycling and the location of bins within the accommodation.
Commitment 03
Encourage responsible energy and water use with simple reminders (e.g., LED lighting, eco tips).
Commitment 04
Actively promote your participation in the network on social media, your website, and across all guest communications (for example, by including the official logo).
Sign your property up to the recycling commitment network. A simple way to stand out, make a difference, protect our island’s natural beauty and enhance the value of every stay.
